попалось на глаза, в очередной раз, понятно по какому случаю
The Intel AML compiler will not let anything through, but the Microsoft compiler is very relaxed about the details. Most of the warnings and remarks are harmless. The actual errors are what cause most of the ACPI bugs in Linux/Mac. I use the acpi specifications to see what is standard, and what is just trash ACPIspec40.pdf
99% of the time, errors are caused by the Microsoft compiler not conforming to the acpi standards that everyone is supposed to follow. This was actually part of the big antitrust lawsuit, b ut they are still at it: http://antitrust.slated.org/www.iowacons
